Rooted Together: A Workshop About Care in Hard Times
Every day can feel like a struggle in this country. We are overwhelmed with stories of the erosion of our democracy and human rights and the dehumanization of neighbors. Meanwhile, we are still having to do the daily tasks of going to work, making dinner for our families, helping kids with homework, and more…as if none of this is happening.
Some days you might be spinning out or tuning out. Other days might feel like you are the only one in your circle who sees or even cares about what is happening.
Let’s take a moment, take a break, reconnect with yourself, and join like-minded folks in community.
We will take a look at how your body and mind are being impacted with all of the input, ideas for tending to yourself and building a foundation of care, and finding agency to show up for your community.
